Re: Anthony Bourdain Brown Bread
He inspired me to visit some of the places I’ve been. Certainly would have been someone you’d want to share a few beers with. Looked the perfect life from the outside looking in.

I'm a bit shocked by this. I've watched him quite a bit on YouTube. Especially his shows on Thailand.

Re: Anthony Bourdain Brown Bread
His show “Parts unknown” on CNN was the only show worth watching on the entire network.

Sad news, RIP!

"I should’ve died in my 20s. I became successful in my 40s. I became a dad in my 50s. I feel like I’ve stolen a car — a really nice car — and I keep looking in the rearview mirror for flashing lights."

Re: Anthony Bourdain Brown Bread
Parts Unknown, and No Reservations were his shows.

Think of Michael Palin shows from around the world with a cooking theme and plenty of booze.

Worth watching!

'probably the most famous American that is not an actor'

In a world drowning in internet-enabled, fatuous nonsense, it really is remarkable to excel so consistently in this fashion. Please do carry on enriching our lives.

Shocked by this. Don’t really know his shows but know of him from sports martial arts - trained jiu jitsu every day and competed high level. Often helps with depression and mental health issues as it helps to put your mind in a good place. RIP.

Never heard of him either but just read some of his Twitter feeds and he sounded like a pretty decent bloke to have a beer with and it's always bad when one of those checks out.

Meanwhile Robbie fucking Williams calmly walks down the fire escape as the posh hotel he's staying in burns, trademark smirk intact.
